One member 89001 now in Great North Eastern Railway (GNER) livery and allocated to Bounds Green depot (north London). This loco was once called "Avocet," and is used to supplement the Class 91s on the East Coast Main Line.

89001 (then "Avocet") stored next to 91030 at Bounds Green Depot on the 29th March 1992. This loco is now in GNER Livery and works on the East Coast Main Line.
