Originally they were built
has 4 car units and number 508001-43. One trailer was removed and
used in Class 455/7 units when they were transferred from the
Southern Region to Merseyside. Certain members of these units are
being transferred back South for use by Connex South Eastern
services on the Medway valley line and the Isle of Sheppy line.
Numbers are 508101 to
508143. Mostly allocated to Birkenhead (BD) depot.
