• Built BREL York 1991 to 1993, Metro-Cammell 1991 to 1993 and ABB York 1993 to 1994.
• Networker type electrical equipment.
• P3 bogies on motor cars and T3 bogies on trailer cars.
• Gangwayed within set only.
• Traction motors: 465/0 and 465/1 - 4 Brush totally enclosed squirrel-caged three-phase induction motors, 465/2 - 4 GEC Alsthom G352BY motors. All per car driven by four GTO inverters.
• Dimensions are 20.89 x 2.82 m (outer cars) and 20.06 x 2.81 m (inner cars).
• Maximum speed of 75 mph.
• Aluminium bodies.
• Sliding doors.
• Disc, rheostatic and regenerative brakes.

Class 465/0 - Built by ABB.

Unit numbers are 465001 to 465050. All allocated to Slade Green (SG) depot between Erith and Dartford.

Class 465/1 - Built by ABB.

Unit numbers are 465151 to 465197. All allocated to Slade Green depot.

Class 465/2 - Built by Metro-Cammell.

Unit numbers 465201 to 465250. All allocated to Slade Green depot.

All networkers work the suburban lines from London Victoria, London Charing Cross, London Blackfriars and London Cannon Street. They work to Dartford, Gillingham, Orpington, and Sydenham, Hayes and Addiscombe. The Networkers replaced the old EPB units.

Class 466 - Networker.

Unit numbers are 466001 to 466043. All allocated to Slade Green (SG) depot.
