Class 442 - Wessex Express Stock.

Built for Waterloo to Weymouth services. Now used on Portsmouth Harbour services from Waterloo. Power operated sliding plug doors, air conditioned and can be hauled and heated by any BR ETH fitted locomotive. Multiple working with Class 33/1 and 73 locos.

Numbers are 2401 to 2424, all allocated to Bournemouth (BM) depot and are being repainted into Stagecoach livery.

442 2416 at Southampton442 2416 at the front of 442 2415 at Southampton on the 18th March 1992. This train formed the London Waterloo Service. 442 and 465 at Clapham442 2416 shares the shed with 465239 and 159004 on the 4th April 1993.
442 2417 at Eastleigh442 2417 hammers through Eastleigh on the Up line towards Winchester. 442 2422 at Southampton442 2422 stands at Southampton next to a 4-Vep unit on the 26th June 1993.
442 2424 at Southampton442 2424 leaves Southampton for Weymouth on the 18th March 1992.
