Pressure ventilated. Numbers are 317301-348. Allocated at East Ham are units 317301-8/10-14/17/19/22/29/32. These are in LTS Rail livery. The other units are allocated to Hornsey depot.

Class 317/2.

Fitted with convection heating. Unit numbers 317349-372 all allocated to Hornsey depot.
