Unit 303048 is an unrefurbished Class 303/0 and is in the original Glasgow "Blue Train" livery.

All other units 303001/3/4/6/8/9-21/23-25/27-28/32-34/37/40/43/45/47/54-56/58/61/65/70/77/79-80/83/85/87-91 are refurbished Class 303/1 with hopper type window vents and 2+2 seating.

All of Class 303 is allocated to Glasgow Shields TMD (GW) and are either in Strathclyde PTE (orange and black) livery or the BR carmine and cream ("blood and custard") livery - numbers 303019, 303021, 303023, 303037 and 303087.
